Goodyear Wrangler Tires

Did you know there are 14 models of Goodyear Wrangler tires? I didn’t either. I’ve searched all
over the web for reviews from real users who have recently put Wranglers on their trucks so you can get their opinions as to whether or not they’re good tires.

  1. Hi Joe, I was wondering if you could help me? I drive a 2006 Toyota Tundra 4×4 double cab. I have 20inch stainless steel wheels currently with michelin latitude tires 285/55/r20. However these tires are needing replacement because the company that did a front alignment on my truck forgot or didn’t tighten one of the bolts. So when I was driving home from a camping trip in Northern Utah my steering wheel turned very quickly to the right, thankfully I was only going about 20mph but had to stay at that speed for 25 miles prior to getting service on the truck. Scary situation. The wheels were squealing and I could tell they were getting ripped up. The company said they had Nokian Rotiva AT in stock and the Hankook rf 10 dynapro both of which are 275/55/r20 . They also said they would order in whatever I wanted and make it right for me. Like half of what I would normally pay. So I did some reviews on these two tires but hard to find anything on the nokian tire. I also looked at the cooper discoverer at/3. I need your help and recommendation as to what tire to go with. My driving is mainly highway and paved roads but will take truck off road on big boulders and rough roads from time to time. I have the michelin xi x2 ice for the winter on 16 in wheels brand new. I use these for the winter season. If you think there is a better tire than the ones I mentioned that the company is willing to replace half off I am very open to hear your suggestions. Thank You, Chris Doyle

  2. Hi Chris,

The Nokian is a well known brand in Europe. They make excellent snow tires. I would probably opt to go with the Hankooks, they’re a good tire.
