The Krawler can be custom carved to meet your needs and comes with a 4 ply sidewall for extra strength.

If you want to play in the mud on a regular basis, these aren’t the tires for that. But if you want to crawl all over rocks, this is what this tire is all about.

You can drop the air pressure down under 10 psi and these baby’s will bite like spiderman.

BFG Krawler TA KX Features

  • Rim Protector Built In
  • Developed with feedback from rock crawling competitors
  • Four nylon sidewall plies
  • Available in sizes 35×13.50×15 to 39X13.5R17

This tire has big gnarly lugs on the shoulder and sidewall and while you might think the Krawlers are for competition only, they’re not. You can run these on the street. Yes, they will be noisy. Yes, you will look very cool.

The reviews from people who’ve run them on the street are mostly positive. A few mention the tire is noisy on the hi-way. Really? Sarcasm intended.

Here’s what one guy had to say about them:

I was in a serious 4 wheel drive area  when I lost my front locker and had to limp out on the rear alone and these Krawlers pulled me through. I love these tires!

Buy or don’t buy?

If you’re going serious places off-road and need great sidewall puncture protection, then yes, I would buy them. Just make sure you have a good sound system to drown out the lug slap going down the hi-way.
